Good news! Estate Tax Amnesty is extended from June 15, 2021 to June 15, 2023.
Huge factor is the COVID-19 Pandemic that forced people to do community quarantine and save up for more essential priorities. As well as government offices are on skeletal forces then and slowly going back on track this 2021.

This is part of the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law by President Duterte to lower estate tax in the Philippines from 0-20% to 6%. Regardless of the property value or how many they are, it is a standard of 6% covering unpaid taxes until December 31, 2017.
